This indenture of final concord is dated within 8 days of the Purification in the 18th year reign of Charles II (Dec - Feb 1676/7). John Hare is the purchaser, while John Jordan with his wife margaret, Robert Jordan, and Richard Cooper with his wife Elizabeth are the vendors. The sale concerns 1 messuage, 1 garden, ! orchard plus 1 acre, and 2 acres of pasture all being in Hoo Suffolk for which the consideration of £60.00 is paid.
